A LETTER FROM THE EDITORS

Dear Reader,

Thank you for reading our magazine. We hope that through these articles, you can share our interest in anything space-related or discover a newfound passion for things out-of-this-world. When writing our articles, we were always looking back to our aim for this magazine: To present a variety of topics all related to space, history of space exploration, effects of zero gravity and amazing technology to name a few.

At first, we had trouble deciding what topic we should write our magazine on since we could not have been more different types of people. But then we discovered, despite our many differences, that we were all tied together by a common interest in space. This proved to be a topic that was sufficiently specific, but still versatile enough to entertain all of our different interest and passions. While it was hard enough for us to become united in one opinion, the many setbacks we experience only increased our desire to design and create a magazine that fully expressed our interest and passions for space. Due to COVID, we were quite limited with our resources, but that only inspired us to fully utilize what we have.

We decided to use a relatively minimalistic layout with colors of a mellow-er tone in combination of a dark background to provide a stark contrast that we generally associate with space.

Going into this class, all of us had little to no background in graphic design or journalism. But overall, despite the setbacks and frustrations, we all enjoyed design and creating this magazine and hope that you can enjoy our magazine as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Sincerely,

The Editors
